Breytingar á reglum um sóttkví
Á morgun taka gildi nýjar reglur varðandi sóttkví.
Það þýðir að allir þeir sem eru í sóttkví vegna smita utan heimilis mega mæta í skólann á morgun.
Séu nemendur í sóttkví vegna smita á heimili, mega þeir ekki mæta í skólann, fyrr en að sóttkví er lokið.
Það er líka mjög mikilvægt að foreldrar upplýsi skólann sé nemandi með covidsmit eða í sóttkví.
Við viljum enn og aftur ítreka það að:
Ef nemendur sýna einkenni Covid-19 skulu þeir fara í PCR próf og mæta ekki í skólann nema neikvæð niðurstaða liggi fyrir. Gera má ráð fyrir að haft verið samband við foreldra/forráðamenn og þeir beðnir um að sækja börn sín í skólann ef þau sýna einkenni sem gætu bent til Covidsmits.
Það má búast við því að þessi aðgerð verði til þess að smit aukist í skólanum og þ.a.l. gætu orðið einhverjar raskanir á skólastarfi vegna þess. Þó alltaf verði leitast við að raska skólastarfi eins lítið og mögulegt er.
Takk fyrir gott samstarf og ég trúi því að þetta sé fyrsta skrefið í átt að eðlilegu skólahaldi á ný.

Dear parents / guardians
Tomorrow, new rules regarding quarantine will take effect.
This means that all those who are quarantined due to infection outside the home can attend school tomorrow.
If students are quarantined due to infection at home (parents, siblings), they may not attend school until the quarantine is over.
It is also very important that parents inform the school if the student has covid.
We would like to reiterate once again that:
If students show symptoms of Covid-19, they should take a PCR test and not attend school unless there is a negative result. Parents / guardians can be expected to be contacted and asked to bring their children to school if they show symptoms that could indicate Covid.
It can be expected that this action will lead to an increase in infection in the school and i.e. there could lead to some disruption to school activities. However, efforts must always be made to disrupt school activities as little as possible.
Thank you for the good cooperation and I believe that this is the first step towards a normal schooling again.
